Sometimes there are days where you just want to look classy and expensive. Here are five easy and cheap hacks to look expensive and classy.
Hack #1 Pearls: Pearls have always been a staple in every classy girl's closet. Think of all the times you have seen queens wear pearls, either as earrings, a necklace or a bracelet. They can be real or fake, (as long the paint isn't chipping off, that's never classy) Then pearls can make any outfit look just a little bit nicer and more expensive. There are lots of sublet colors out there, I myself have pink, grey and white and they match with everything.
Hack #2 Chipped Nails: Chipped nail paint (which I am totally guilty of) is never classy looking. It's just not pretty to look at and can make it look like you're not trying/or are lazy. The best way to avoid this is to get gel nail polish, wear a super natural looking color so you can't tell if its chipped, or when it starts to chip, put a sparkle overcoat over it so you can't tell!
Hack #3 Skirts/Dressy Pants! Skirts might seem old fashioned, but most skirts (in good taste and length) can look really nice. And longer, midi skirts are the fashion right now! And Dressy pants are now a big thing right now too, so you'll look totally trendy with them! Explore all your options (because there are hundreds) with velvet, sparkles, pleats and floral in both styles of bottoms.
Hack #4 Nice Hair: Now I know that you can't curl or style your hair everyday. But keeping your hair in good condition and knowing how to take care of your hair will keep it looking healthy and pretty. Experiment with styles other then a messy bun and you might just find some easy, quick and beautiful hair styles that really suit you and will help you stand out in a sea of messy buns and I woke up like this waves. Get your hair cut every two months or so and don't let your roots (if you dye your hair) grow out because those looks are never classy!
Hack #5 I heard this once and it really stuck with me. Probably the most important thing about being classy is to have a good attitude. Being mean and grumpy and unthankful will never make you look like the classy girl you can be. But if you are loving and kind and use good language, (this can be anything from crude words to degrading yourself or others) then you are going to be seen as much more classy, no matter what you wear or how your nails look!
